Duties & Taxes

Do I have to pay duties & taxes on my order?

Our parcels are sent from our Hong Kong warehouse. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting. Grana is not responsible for any customs and import duty charges.

French Linen

As a world leader when it comes to producing the flax plants necessary for creating high quality linen, we went straight to France for the best of the best. The damp coastal climate, nutrient rich soil and experienced growers from Normandy make for a winning combination. Sure, you can grow it elsewhere, but you’d have to compromise on quality, and that’s not something we’re prepared to do. As one of the strongest and most durable natural fibres, linen won’t stretch and is resistant to damage from abrasion. It’s also breathable and moisture wicking, making it a great choice for the spring and summer months. Turning flax into linen is a long and complex process. Our flax plants are sown, pulled and retted in Normandy. Next up, a process called scutching happens whereby the flax fibres are prepared for spinning. After this, the linen is ready to be woven and knitted into sheets, before being transformed into the Grana pieces you know and love.

This jumpsuit is my wardrobe favorite! I'm actually wearing it now and was stopped in the street by a stranger who wanted to get one!

by Georgina / September 22, 2018

The straps needed a little bit of extra fitting, too long for me, but in total a great piece!

by Xenia Oxana / September 21, 2018

Lovely linen, very comfortable and keeps you as cool as possible on those hot summer days.

by Celine / September 21, 2018

Nice linen and style. Button snapped off after around 5 wears.

by Dewi / September 21, 2018

Buttons came off before I wore it!

by Annalise / September 20, 2018

The sizing comparison was inaccurate- it fitted large. I would've ordered differently knowing this. I had to have it altered as return shipping is too expensive.
