Being a chef can be a challenging career path. I sneak out of the kitchen to pop up to the dining room during service when it’s very busy just to look at our customers’ faces. To see that they’re enjoying what they’re eating - that makes me genuinely happy.
One of my chef friends and mentors once told me that it’s important to take your time because education is everything. If you try to skyrocket to the top too quickly, you’ll miss those vital years of education. Listen, be patient, learn and put your emotions and your skills onto a plate.
Quality, comfort and value.
