I define success by the knowledge that you’ve gained. It’s not about financial numbers or how many stores you have, it’s about what you’ve learnt and gained from that experience. Aside from being able to support a fellow Australian, I feel that Grana and Genie Juicery share the same business ethos in offering something luxurious and at high quality – but accessible to everyone.
My advice for those wanting to start something of their own is this: make sure it’s something that you really love and see yourself doing for a very long time. Businesses take time to grow and you need to have the spirit and passion to keep it going through all the hard times – but don’t forget to have fun and to enjoy it.
