Duties & Taxes

Do I have to pay duties & taxes on my order?

Our parcels are sent from our Hong Kong warehouse. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting. Grana is not responsible for any customs and import duty charges.

We've been working with Tom Gutie, a boutique atelier in Peru, for the last 6 months to bring you 300 of these limited edition baby alpaca coats. With our honest prices, you'll only be paying .

what is baby alpaca?

Baby alpaca is the prime grade of the natural fibre, shorn from adult alpaca. As an exceptional insulator, it is incredibly fine, lightweight and soft. What makes baby alpaca the best, most luxurious fibre to use in winter coats is that it does not contain lanolin - what gives sheep’s wool its scratchiness. In fact, baby alpaca is naturally hypoallergenic.

exceptionally lightweight

Alpaca is naturally warmer than merino wool yet as lightweight as cashmere.

The shell of our coats are composed with a blend of 70% peruvian alpaca and 30% merino wool for the perfect balance of hand-feel, warmth, and softness. The lining is 100% Cupro - a silky, eco-friendly natural by-product of cotton.

for her: the double breasted cocoon

This everyday coat is available in delicious camel and eternal black, complimenting any outfit all through winter for many years to come. We've constructed a thoughtful inside welt pocket on top of the two front flap pockets to make sure it is as practical as it is chic.

for him: the minimal straight cut

This understated, everyday 4-button style is also constructed with a hidden inside welt pocket as well as the two slant-edged welt pockets on the outside, available in black and heather grey.

just sayin'

During our pre-order stage, we found first hand that some women were buying the straight button-down version while some men were into the double-breasted cocoon. So as long as you bear the different sizing in mind - why not?
